Savage Republic on tour

Thursday, January 24th, 2013
SavageRepublic_Posters We are proud and happy to bring our long time friends Savage Republic back on European stages after many many years.Rising from the Los Angeles underground of the 1980s, Savage Republic forged an astonishing reputation by virtue of five mesmerizing studio albums and a string of legendary live performances. Forever shifting, their brand of ritualistically tribal exhibitions blurred the boundaries of postpunk, industrial and soundtrack music, incorporating minimalist bass rumbles, exotic metal percussion, primal chants, middle eastern melodies and even shards of surf guitar.”

IBD proudly presents: Wattican Punk Ballet

Monday, September 10th, 2012

Please welcome with us the loudest and freakiest rock duo from the East!

Armenian siblings Gaya and Karen Arutyunyan [also members of Deti Picasso and Masfel] explore the borders of rock music synthesizing experimental rock music with electronics, punk and theatrical stage show.  Gaya and Karen explore the limits of composing and creativity in terms of the duo format. The band’s melange of raw power, funky disco beats and Caucasian influences elevate in the elemental energy of their live performances. Almost in every track they change instruments, using guitars, drums, keyboards, loops and percussion and making a very diverse and dynamic live show – please check them out on youtube! They do have quite a touring history already, mainly in Eastern Europe,  incl. Festivals like SZIGET 2012. By the end of october we expect a brand new video as well as a full time Live DVD.

Surely one of the best newcomers from the East! Be Ready!

Viza over Europe

Monday, March 28th, 2011

Viza has infiltrated the global music scene with an explosive sound of international rock.
You can hear the blasts and screams from the depths of Eastern Europe to the deserts of the Middle East.

Formerly “Visa”, Viza’s latest work, "Made in Chernobyl" hit the music scene in a big way in the Summer of 2010.
A sophisticated fusion of hard rock and internationally diverse rhythms and sounds, the album demonstrates an expansion in Viza’s already powerful arsenal of virtuosic and aggressive musical mayhem.

After completing a wildly successful European Tour this past summer opening for Serj Tankian [System of a Down vocalist], Viza is ready to take the world by storm, and is preparing its next recording, "Carnivalia", which will further the band’s journey in experimentation and moving melodies.

Viza is available for festivals and club shows in August/Sep.2011. A full tour is planned for November.
